Palaeontologica Belgica's founding members come from different Belgian geo-scientific organisations and they work project wise on various paleontological initiatives.
In addition to cooperation with (inter)national and regional research institutions, the academic world and other organisations, a great deal of attention is also aimed towards 'citizen science', ethics and open science, as well as outreach and education to the general public.
